Components List Of Battery Power Supply Configuration For All 3 Versions of 2 Valve Regenerative Receiver
Switches
1 Double Pole switch with at least 3 Amp current capacity for handling the DC Valve heater current and a breakdown voltage rating of about no less then 100V particularly recommended when powering the ECL82 Power Amplifier version of this receiver. Alternatively it may be more recommended to use 2 separate switches.
FS1 100MA A/S. You will also need a suitable fuse holder depending on the style of receiver case you decide to build.
FS2 2 AMP A/S. You will also need a suitable fuse holder depending on the style of receiver case you decide to build.
3 PP3 Battery Clips For 27V HT Supply or 6 PP3 Battery Clips For 54V HT Supply for higher power ECL82 Version of this receiver.
Batteries For HT Power
3 PP3 Alkaline Batteries for 27V HT Supply or 6 PP3 Alkaline Batteries for 54V HT supply.
Batteries For LT Valve Heater Supply
6 Volt 4.5 Ampere Hour Sealed Acid Lead, Available from http://www.maplin.co.uk Order code L21AC at the time of writing. You will also need a suitable mains charger which is also available from http://www.maplin.co.uk and the order code is LI92A. HT Transformer
Primary 240V AC
Secondary 20.0.20 V AC 6VA Current Rating NB Secondary's must be connected in series for 54V HT and Parallel in the reverse phase for 27V HT.
The above item at the time of writing is available from the following link Cricklewood Electronics as part number T620.
LT Transformer
Primary 240V AC
Secondary 6V AC 25VA Rating.
